El's Drive In needed a complete rebuild at its original Morehead City location. KTE Contracting took on the project to recreate the classic landmark building while preserving the original design and footprint that Carteret County residents know well.
Our team managed extensive work inside and out to bring the building back to life. We focused on quality craftsmanship over speed and avoided cutting corners at every stage. Working alongside skilled local subcontractors, we built the entire structure to ensure it withstands heavy use and lasts for generations.
The finished build successfully restores the classic appearance of this Crystal Coast favorite. The Frank family gained a durable, freshly constructed building ready to welcome crowds back into the parking lot. KTE Contracting delivered a reliable space that honors the original business.
